Linen Blanket - Purple

I am a purple linen blanket. My job is like a vacation. Whether I’m lounging at the beach or having picnics at the park, every day is a field day!

Curator's Notes

Popular in Japan, these blankets are also referred to as towelkets. They resemble large beach towels or bed linens and are usually used in warmer weather. These particular towelkets are great if you want a bit of coverage yet want to stay cool as the linen weaves allow circulation of air. They are multifunctional and great for travelers with limited space. When used as a towel, the thickness of the chambray linen makes it very absorbent. They can also be used at the park as a picnic blanket, at the beach and as a lightweight blanket or throw. We love its versatility and how soft they get after washing.
